The “833rd Hafengeburtstag Hamburg” will take place on September 16-18, 2022, sponsored by AIDA Cruises.
The main attraction on the water will be AIDAprima ship. For the Hafengeburtstag Hamburg's finale on Saturday evening (Sept 17), the liner will provide a color painting in the heart of Hamburg City as the focal point of the light show “Hamburgs Lichtermeer” presented by AIDA.
On all 3 days of the event, cruise fans can find inspiration for their next journey in the AIDA Vacation World on Jan Fedder Promenade/Hohe Baumwall.
With a total of 120 calls and 9 AIDA ships this year, the company is once again a major economic factor for Hamburg and an attraction for many residents and guests. AIDAsol opened the year-long AIDA season on the Elbe River on January 7, 2022, while AIDAprima will end it with a visit on December 29.

AIDAperla, which visits the Norway fjords from Hamburg on 9-/10-day voyages, offers an even more North Country feeling. Also setting sail from Hamburg are the cruises with AIDAsol, which take guests through the English Channel to the Bay of Biscay, or to Norway, England, and Scotland.
AIDAsol is due to embark on her first world cruise from Hamburg in October 2022. The journey will take passengers all around the world in a total of 117 days.
Throughout the winter, AIDAprima will be offering the metropolis tour from Hamburg with a visit to the Advent markets of Bruges (Zeebrugge, Belgium)/Honfleur (France), or Christmas shopping in Amsterdam (Netherlands), London (England), and Paris (France).
