CCL-Carnival Cruise Line sent an update to travel advisors and clients regarding future voyages to Bermuda.
In keeping compliant with government protocols enacted by the British overseas territory, the cruise company is now requiring all guests on its liners that sail to Bermuda to provide documentation of a negative test result for COVID before boarding.
Failure to provide present proof of a negative COVID test will result in guests being denied boarding onto the cruise ship, with no refund provided.
CCL made it clear that cruise tourists visiting Bermuda will still need to provide a negative COVID test before sailing, regardless of vaccination/booster status.
Passengers can take a PCR test within 72 hours of their departure or a rapid antigen test within 48 hours.
The requirement will remain in place through December 31, 2022.
