Princess Cruises' ship Coral Princess carrying ~2000 passengers finally docked in Brisbane (Queensland Australia) after being stuck for 2 days at sea.
The liner was scheduled to dock on Friday morning, July 22, but remained stranded at sea due to wild weather (waves up to 6,5 m / 22 ft), preventing it from entering Brisbane Harbour.
The vessel had also a COVID outbreak with 150 cases. The infected were compelled to isolate themselves in their staterooms last week.
On Sunday, July 24, all passengers were disembarked in Brisbane and remained positive regarding the experience.
Coral Princess is the only cruiser accessing Port Brisbane in July, but by November 2022, 7 more will be going/coming.
In December, there will be 2 more ships.
