AIDA Cruises is bringing a brand new experience highlight onboard with the VR-virtual reality attraction YULLBE GO.
Onboard AIDAcosma, guests can choose from 4 different game worlds and immerse themselves in the new dimension.
In addition to the popular YULLBE World at Germany's Europa-Park, YULLBE GO is the first opportunity to try out the special family experience on a cruise ship. Equipped with hand trackers and VR goggles, guests can move freely in space, taking on various challenges in a real-looking virtual world.
To enable the feeling of free roaming/exploration, special cameras are integrated in the 5K VR goggles in order to track the exact position of each traveler in the room.
In the first stage of development, the YULLBE GO room aboard AIDAcosma will be home to 4 different experiences. Due to next-generation VR technology, passengers will for instance be able to shrink into the Hamburg Miniatur Wunderland.
In addition to a crazy Wunderland walk, the launch will feature more fantasy worlds from the creative forge of Europa-Park:
- “Alpha Mods P.D.” - an action-packed, futuristic car chase
- “EUROPA-PARK: Ed and Edda’s Magical Journey - an adventure through the enchanted Europa-Park
- “Miniatur Wunderland – Walking in Wunderland” - a fantastic walk through the world-famous model exhibition on a scale of 1:87
- “Moon to Mars” - a physics-based game with gravity.
The new VR Experience can be booked and tried out on AIDAcosma. Participation is possible in the company of a parent/guardian from 8 years, otherwise from 12 years.
MackNeXT (part of the MACK group of companies, owners of Europa-Park) developed YULLBE which stands for VR experiences for the whole family. The mobile version of the VR attraction is YULLBE GO and can now also be experienced onboard the AIDAcosma ship.
