Viking Venus cruise ship made a return visit to Liverpool (England UK) on Saturday, August 8, as part of a 14-day voyage around Britain.
The Norwegian-themed vessel left Port Bergen (Norway) on July 29 and is sailing around Ireland, Scotland, and Wales, prior to arriving at Port Tilbury-London where the journey ends on August 12.
Venus is one of Viking OCEAN's newest ships, having only entered service in 2021. With max passenger capacity 930 (plus 465 crew). Advertised as "all-balcony small ships", these boats can dock where larger vessels cannot and also offer sweeping ocean views from their spacious luxurious staterooms.
Viking Venus was officially christened by the broadcaster Anne Diamond on May 17, last year. She has 8 identical sisterships.
Viking Venus features the Viking Living Room, modern wellness facilities including a Snow Grotto, described as "perhaps the most unique treatment space at sea. It acts as a part of the centuries-old Nordic tradition of alternating hot and cold treatments to detoxify."
