NCL-Norwegian Cruise Line announced the line's latest EMBARK with NCL Series, “The Evolution of Innovation,” which is a showcase of the history of cruising and the company’s 55-year legacy of "pioneering and defining vacation experiences at sea."
With just a few weeks away from the anticipated debut of Norwegian Prima, the 3-part program chronicles the groundbreaking moments of the company, and a series of firsts, which revolutionized cruising, and prepared it for the next evolution of the brand.
In the new episode of EMBARK, viewers are guided through NCL’s storied journey, from being the first line to offer roundtrip cruises to the Caribbean back in 1966 to its new Prima Class of ships, debuting this month.
In each of the episodes, an element of the company’s innovative, multifaceted and passenger-centered focus is illustrated through the perspectives of NCL executives, staff members, loyal guests, and individuals who played key roles in NCL’s evolution from the beginning. The episodes offer viewers the chance to take a peek into the history of the brand, with archived footage and never-before-seen interviews, as well as a first look at the exceptional class of ships that will define the future of the brand.
NCL President and Chief Executive Officer Harry Sommer said that since 1966, NCL had set industry-leading standards for the ultimate vacation experience.
"‘The Evolution of Innovation’ documents the Company’s pioneering heritage and provides a look into the future, one built on creativity, style and an uncompromising commitment to our guest.”
