P&O Australia and Harding Retail agreed to extend their 13-year partnership, which will see the group manage all onboard retail concessions on P&O AU ships for the next 5 years.
All 3 boats will have a retail offering curated/managed by Harding in collaboration with P&O Cruises Australia and informed by the insights program it has developed over the past 5 years.
Marguerite Fitzgerald (President of Carnival Australia and P&O Cruises Australia) said that for the past 13 years, Harding had "demonstrated an exemplary partnership approach, with an understanding of cruise retail, insights and perspectives unmatched in the industry."
"We are thrilled to extend the relationship and embrace new thinking, learning and growth approaches to build on all that has worked so well over the years."
P&O Pacific Explorer restarted cruising on May 31 after the pause in operations caused by the COVID crisis.
Pacific Encounter was next in line when she started sailing from Brisbane (Queensland Australia) in August.
Pacific Adventure was due to complete her continued cruise when she departs Sydney (NSW Australia) in October.
James Prescott (Harding's Managing Director) said that continuing their long-standing partnership with P&O Australia as they returned to cruising and introduced two Grand-Class liners to Australian guests was something they were very proud of.
"With P&O Cruise Line holding a very special place in the hearts of many Australians and New Zealanders, we are excited to bring our ever-evolving data-driven insights into what matters to cruise guests in the retail space to the next chapter of how we work together, to make sure we can add the value of surprise and delight to every journey.”
