Richard Branson’s cruise line brand Virgin Voyages is welcoming its second ship - Valiant Lady, to homeport Miami Florida USA, marking another milestone for the new travel brand.
Valiant Lady joins the sistership Scarlet Lady, with the MerMaiden voyage leaving on Sunday, October 30.
Launching USA-based operations in 2021, Virgin’s newest boat Valiant Lady, is due to set sail from PortMiami introducing new 6- and 8-night roundtrip itineraries visiting San Juan (Puerto Rico), St Croix USVI, and Isla Roatan (Honduras), all with calls at the company's exclusive Beach Club at Resorts World Bimini Bahamas (Bailey Town).
MS Valiant Lady arrives on the heels of a record bookings month for Virgin, signaling the continued rise of the industry to pre-COVID volumes.
Richard Branson will join the initial part of the maiden voyage. Valiant Lady will embark on a Western Caribbean sailing, celebrating the milestone moment with a 6-night voyage full of surprises. Sailors can expect Halloween parties and a Guinness World Record attempt for the most mermaids in one place at Virgin's Beach Club at Bimini.
Valiant Lady is currently en route to PortMiami, crossing the Atlantic, and is expected to arrive in the early hours of Sunday, October 30. The ship will then make her Miami debut, setting sail from the Virgin Voyages' new homeport at Terminal V, a US$160M, LEED Gold facility.
