Celebrity Cruises announced that one of the EDGE-Class ships would be homeported in Southampton (England UK) for summer 2024 season.
Celebrity Apex is scheduled to replace the recently refurbished fleetmate Celebrity Silhouette, which is deployed in Northern Europe for roundtrips from Southampton.
Celebrity Cruises Apex ship will offer 4- to 13- night voyages in the period May through November 2024. According to the company, "travelers can delight in the beauty and culture of awe-inspiring Europe, whether for a short multi-city break or an extended adventure at sea.”
Celebrity Apex's ex-UK schedule will feature a 12-night "Norwegian Fjords and Arctic Circle" itinerary.
The 2020-built/2021-inaugurated Celebrity Apex (initially named "Celebrity Beyond") is the second of all five EDGE-class boats - with sisterships Celebrity Edge (2018), Celebrity Beyond (2022), Celebrity Ascent (2023) and TBN2 (2025).
