The first dialogue series with local partners came to an end on the AIDAnova ship this week.
To mark the start of her cruise season in the Canary Islands, AIDA Cruises invited official representatives from politics, tourism, and port industry onboard from November 23rd to 28th, 2022, to inform them about the line’s current goals as well as engage in a joint exchange.
The visits during the calls at Fuerteventura, Gran Canaria, Lanzarote, Madeira, and Tenerife, were well received by the partners in the region who were satisfied by the sustainability measures onboard and gained insights into the AIDA world.
During the subsequent discussions with Captain Marc-Dominique Tidow and General Manager Martin Rostel, numerous points of contact for future cooperation emerged.
The events are the prelude to a series of dialog rounds in the destinations that AIDA is calling at. The company is sending a signal to its regional partners for more cooperation/commitment to open exchange in the future.
During the current winter season, the AIDAnova ship is sailing to the Canaries on 7-day voyages. The program includes the volcanic landscapes of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Fuerteventura (Puerto del Rosario), Lanzarote (Arrecife), and Santa Cruz de Tenerife, as well as the Portuguese archipelago of Madeira (Port Funchal).
In mid-April 2023, the AIDAnova ship will set course for another of the Germans’ favorite destinations - the Norwegian fjords. During the summer season, destinations like Alesund, Bergen, Nordfjordeid, and Stavanger are on the itinerary.
