On December 7th, at the delivery ceremony held at noon at RMC-Rauma Marine Constructions' shipyard (Rauma, Finland), to the shipowner Tallink Grupp was delivered its newest flagship - MyStar.
Being currently the most modern Baltic Sea cruiseferry, MyStar will arrive at homeport Tallinn (Old City Harbour) on Friday, December 9th.
Participating at the official delivery ceremony at Rauma Shipyard was Paavo Nogene (Tallink Grupp's CEO), Mika Laurilehto (RMC's Deputy CEO), shipyard representatives and Tallink MyStar project team members.
According to the shipbuilding tradition, as part of the ceremony, the Estonian national flag was hoisted on the vessel's mast, symbolizing the transfer of ownership to Tallink Grupp.
MyStar's first docking at Old City Harbour's Terminal D/Quay 1, will be on Saturday, December 10th, 2022, at 10 am Estonian time (8 am UTC).
The maiden voyage departs from Tallinn on December 13th, to end in Helsinki (Finland) at 13:30 local time.
