Project Sama represents the first ultra-luxury at-sea experience from Neptune Co., a joint venture of Aman Group and Cruise Saudi.
The new concept in the "ultra-luxury resort at sea" niche fills a space in the leisure market that has never been explored.
The 183-metre ship, of ~23,000 GT, features Mariotti’s first ever dual fuel-powered newbuild project able to exceed environmental priorities when delivered and well into the future.
The exterior profile/guest accommodations are designed by world-renowned Yacht Designers, SINOT.
Project Sama is expected to host guests in 50 sumptuous suites, featuring spacious public spaces, unrivaled entertainment facilities, and exceptional luxury, a hallmark of the Aman brand.
Marco Ghiglione, T. Mariotti Managing Director said it was "a privilege to have the opportunity to work with Aman, the pinnacle player in high-end hospitality."
"We are proud to offer our luxury shipbuilding experience to this challenging new venture offering a unique combination of luxury, safety and versatility which will innovate the art of travelling at sea. This is yet another sign of the Made in Italy skill and capacity to satisfy the wishes of the most demanding customers in the world.”
The project represents an important occasion to demonstrate the incredible value of the knowledge/expertise of local suppliers/subcontractors who will be working on the concept.
Among the group are De Wave (responsible for luxury interior finishing) and Ortec Santamaria (electrical systems) to consolidate the collaboration with T. Mariotti in new building luxury projects.
Project Sama is due to launch in 2026, and its official name is to be announced in due course.
