Following the return of Celebrity Cruises to South America for the 2022-2023 season, the Celebrity Infinity ship will also bring the line back to Antarctica.
Over the next few days, the ship will offer sailings around Elephant Island, Paradise Bay, and Gerlash Strait, as the first Celebrity Cruises liner to visit the continent since early 2020.
Continuing her current program in South America, the Infinity will offer additional Antarctic voyages and other routes to Argentina, Chile, and Uruguay until April. Before ending the winter season of the region, the vessel will also offer a one-way trip to Brazil.
The 1950-passenger vessel will then relocate to Europe with a 13-day Transatlantic crossing (RepositionCruises.com) to Portugal. Infinity is expected to start the year-long Mediterranean program in May.
As Infiniti spends the winter in Europe, Celebrity Eclipse is to be moved to South America for the 2023-2024 season. Beginning in December 2023, the larger Solstice-class vessel will offer 12 sailings in the region, including four 2-week-long Antarctic voyages in January & February. Other destinations include Drake Passage, Patagonia, the Falkland Islands, Brazil, and Chile.
