Costa Cruises announced its itineraries for 2024. The newest edition of the Around the World voyage (December 2024) will also be available in the coming days.
Three cruise ships will be sailing in the Western Med for week-long voyages visiting some of the most popular destinations in France, Italy, and Spain: the latest generation sisterships Costa Smeralda and Costa Toscana, and Costa Pacifica.
Smeralda is scheduled to depart from Genoa (Milan, Italy) every Friday, starting March 22nd, to call at Marseille (France), Barcelona (Spain), Cagliari (Italy), Naples (Italy), and Rome-Civitavecchia (Italy).
Costa Toscana is expected to be in Savona (Italy) every Saturday, starting in late March, for an itinerary calling at Marseille, Barcelona, Palma, Palermo, and Rome-Civitavecchia. During the summer, Palma is to be replaced by Ibiza.
Starting May 5th, Costa Pacifica is due to depart from Savona (Italy) every Sunday, exploring Rome-Civitavecchia, Ajaccio (Corsica, France), Palma de Mallorca (Spain), Marseille (France), and Valencia (Spain) with La Spezia (Italy) replacing Ajaccio during the fall.
Deliziosa is due to sail in the eastern Mediterranean, with an itinerary including Venice (Marghera), Bari (Italy), the Greek islands of Mykonos, Katakolon, and Santorini. Also included are voyages from Taranto/Catania, bound for Malta and the Greek islands.
During the summer season, 3 liners - Costa Diadema, Costa Fascinosa, and Costa Favolosa – will sail in Northern Europe. Diadema will offer week-long trips from Kiel (Germany), bound for Copenhagen (Denmark) and the Norwegian fjords. Favolosa will sail on 4 different itineraries, from Amsterdam (Netherlands), visiting Greenland, Iceland, Ireland, England, and the Lofoten Islands. Fascinosa will offer 12-day sailings to the North Cape (Nordkapp), and 9-day cruises to the Baltic, visiting Helsinki, Stockholm, Riga, and Tallinn.
In spring & fall there are 3- and 4-day Western Mediterranean mini-cruises aboard Costa Fascinosa and Costa Pacifica.
In autumn, with Costa Diadema and Costa Favolosa, passengers will sail the Mediterranean and beyond to see the Canary Islands, with a 2-week itinerary, or Lisbon (Portugal)/Morocco, with 10-day sailings. Not to be missed in spring is Fascinosa’s journey to the Azores.
The 2025 World Cruise on Costa Deliziosa is scheduled to circumnavigate the globe mostly in the Southern Hemisphere, calling in Tierra del Fuego, Polynesia, Australia, New Zealand, and South Africa. For the first time, the departure is due to be in early December 2024, to enjoy the holidays voyaging. New Year’s Eve in Brazil's Rio de Janeiro will be with the fireworks display from Copacabana Beach.
