The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection announced it will soon open reservations for the fleet's newest cruise ship - Ilma. In 2022, the new cruise brand inaugurated its first superyacht - Evrima, which was constructed in Spain and is smaller, with a slightly different design.
She is the first of two Ritz-Carlton ships to be built at Chantiers de l'Atlantique shipyard (STX France in St Nazaire, to be followed by Luminara.
The company said Marriott Bonvoy Elite members would have exclusive access to bookings before they open to all other passengers, with dates as follows: February 15th, 2023, for Ambassador Elite members; February 24th, 2023, for Platinum Elite members; March 2nd, 2023 for Gold & Silver Elite members, and March 9th, 2023, for all passengers.
Ilma has 10 decks (8 passenger-accessible) and 228 suites, all of which with a private terrace overlooking the ocean, King-size double beds, sofas, walk-in closets. The new yacht features an enlarged marina allowing guests to relax while taking in the views/engaging in water sports from the yacht. In addition, Ilma offers a personalized service to its guests and all the comforts of a luxury service. She has a variety of restaurants with gastronomy based on products from all over the world, like Mediterranean/Southeast Asian cuisine.
Ilma's inaugural season will start in 2024 with itineraries around Europe and the Caribbean on 7- to 11-night voyages.
The sistership Luminara is planned for inauguration in 2025.
