Scenic Cruises announced that its new ultra-luxury superyacht - Scenic Eclipse 2, is now entering the final phase of build with sea trials/final fittings.
In preparation for her debut on April 13th with an 11-day Incredible Iberian Discovery, sailing from Lisbon (Portugal) to Barcelona (Spain) and a summer season exploring the Med, Scotland, and Iceland.
Several new guest experience-focused additions were announced by Scenic’s owners Glen & Karen Moroney. The enhancements add to the ultra-luxury experience, as passengers travel to nearly every corner of the world.
Scenic Eclipse 2’s reimagined Sky Deck provides 270-degree views and a new Sky Bar with indoor/outdoor seating.
A large, oval Vitality Pool on the Sky Deck boasts 29 ft (8.8 m) by 11.5 ft (3.5 m). Swim jets allow vacationers to swim ‘laps.’ Massage jets add to the atmosphere of relaxation.
Both ultra-luxury yachts host the 5,920 ft2 (550 m2) Senses Spa with added features on Eclipse 2. In addition to the male/female wellness areas appointed with saunas, therapy rooms, temperature-controlled plunge pools, steam room, manicure/pedicure studio, relaxation lounges, and outdoor terrace on both yachts, The Senses Spa onboard Scenic Eclipse 2 has an expanded steam room in order to accommodate aromatherapy, experience showers, and an integrated ice fountain.
Due to the success of the KLAFS Infrared chairs onboard Scenic Eclipse, specially designed to relieve back pain/encourage muscle relaxation, an expanded infrared ‘ocean view’ lounge with colour light therapy to energize/reinvigorate skin cells has been introduced into the wellness area on Scenic Eclipse 2.
