Full and part-time, flexible-schedule jobs are offered starting this April when the 2023 cruise season is back to the Port of Seattle (Washington USA).
Terminal operators and shoreside services that support cruise activity from Seattle kick off their job hiring program via a job fair at the Bell Harbor International Conference Center at Pier 66, March 4th, 10:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m.
10 different employers are expected to provide information on cruise season jobs paying between US$20-25 per hour.
Port Seattle will welcome a total of 291 sailings and 1.4+ million revenue passengers between April-October 2023.
Linda Springmann, Director of Cruise Operations & Maritime Marketing for the Port of Seattle said that cruise season team members welcomed visitors to the region and helped make the summer safe and successful.
“These unique jobs offer a behind the scenes opportunity in both the tourism and maritime industry. They can either be a flexible short-term opportunity or an entry point to some of the most critical industries in our region.”
Cruise season hiring begins now and continues through the course of the season.
Seattle's cruise season supports ~US$900 million in business revenue to the region. Provisioning homeport ships at the beginning of each voyage and passenger spending in the region account for the largest categories of economic activity.
