A 55-year-old Indonesian, who was working in the engine room of Costa Cruises' Costa Diadema ship, was found lifeless in his bed.
According to his colleagues, for some time, he had been complaining of a severe headache. They told the maritime health officials once they intervened onboard the Costa Diadema moored at Port Cagliari (Sardinia Island, Italy).
In turn, the officials drew up a report to the magistrate on duty, who authorized the disembarkation of the body and transport to Cagliari's St Michele cemetery.
The relatives of the crew, Amri Bin Mujono, have been notified of the death, almost certainly of natural causes (sudden cardiac death) in light of the absence of signs of forced entry/struggle inside his cabin.
