CCL-Carnival Cruise Line announced it is expanding its offerings in Galveston (Texas USA), by bringing a 4th ship, Carnival Miracle, to the port to offer Texas-sized sailings of 9, 10, 11, and 12 days beginning fall 2024 through to spring 2025.
Bookings for these departures are already open for sale.
Carnival Miracle is due to reposition from San Francisco CA to Galveston TX on October 1st, 2024, and operate a Carnival Journeys voyage visiting Cabo San Lucas (Mexico), Puntarenas (Puerto Caldera, Costa Rica), Cartagena (Colombia), and featuring a Panama Canal transit.
Once in Galveston, Miracle will offer a series of 19 sailings beginning on October 16th, 2024.
A sampling of some of the new itineraries include:
- 9-day Exotic Western Caribbean Sailing (October 16th, 2024) with stops in Montego Bay Jamaica, Grand Cayman, Mahogany Bay Roatan, Belize City, and Cozumel.
- 10-day Panama Canal Sailing (November 15th, 2024) with stops in Cozumel, Limon Costa Rica, Colon Panama, and Mahogany Bay.
- 11-day Exotic Caribbean Sailing (November 25th, 2024) with stops in Montego Bay, Amber Cove Dominicana, Grand Turk, Princess Cays Bahamas, and Nassau.
- 12-day Carnival Journeys Southern Caribbean Sailing (January 26th, 2025) with stops in Grand Cayman, The Netherlands' ABC islands (Aruba, Bonaire, Curacao) and Cozumel.
The 2,200-passenger Carnival Miracle recently completed a drydock refurbishment where CCL’s new red, white and blue livery was added to her hull. The livery serves as an homage to the patriotic colors that also represent CCL, which is dubbed America’s Cruise Line.
Carnival Miracle will diversify CCL’s deployment out of Galveston TX, joining Carnival Breeze, which offers 4- and 5-day sailings; Carnival Dream, which sails 6- and 8-day cruises, and the Excel-Class Carnival Jubilee, which arrives in December to commence week-long Western Caribbean journeys.
