RCI-Royal Caribbean International unveiled 15+ of the bars and nightlife experiences aboard its highly anticipated ship Icon of the Seas.
Icon OTS is expected to debut an unrivaled lineup when she sets sail in January 2024.
Across the new venues, which are among 40+ bars and lounges/entertainment venues, guests are in for new experiences and RCI favorites. Serving up brand firsts are venues like Lou’s Jazz ‘n Blues in Central Park (deck 8), Dueling Pianos in Royal Promenade (deck 6), and spots to grab a drink before a show like the Bubbles champagne bar in Central Park and the Rye & Bean coffee bar in AquaDome (deck 15).
Stunning Sips and Shows
Dueling Pianos is RCI's first dueling piano bar where two resident pianists take song requests to bring performances of crowd-favorite hits to the Royal Promenade.
Lou’s Jazz ‘n Blues is a new spot that fills the open-air Central Park with performances of jazz-pop tunes/soulful classics.
Rye & Bean is a new coffee shop matching the transformational experiences in the AquaDome. It is a cozy morning hangout with ocean views by day and a bar with views of deck entertainment in the Aqua Theater by night.
The Overlook and Overlook Pods take nights out with wraparound windows in the AquaDome bringing the ocean centre stage during the day. At night, the marquee aqua shows of the line are a few steps away. The pods are where guests can lounge with a drink, play board games and kick back to live music.
Returning RCI classic venues are The Attic, inspired by Manhattan’s intimate comedy clubs with adults-only shows, and Music Hall (introduced with the QUANTUM-class vessels).
Unforgettable Ambiance
1400 Lobby Bar is the new meetup spot inspired by the shipbuilding history. Daytime and evening sips are developed with renowned mixologist Tony Abou-Ganim. The venue is also the first to open the Royal Promenade (deck 5) to the outdoors with a vast ocean-facing terrace.
Bubbles in Central Park is where glasses of prosecco, Bellini, mimosas, and even bottles of bubbly are available on tap morning, noon and night.
Returning favorites include a bigger Trellis Bar in Central Park, with a debut menu of bites and a new look; Boleros, the club that brings the heat with Latin flavor; and the Schooner Bar, where the pianists set the tone for pre-dinner drinks/nightcaps.
More Ways to Play
Point & Feather is the neighborhood English pub on the Royal Promenade that has a new open layout, along with games and tournaments.
Playmakers Sports Bar & Arcade - serving up gameday bar fare/ice-cold beers, where guests can catch their home teams on dozens of screens/play arcade & tabletop games.
Spotlight Karaoke - a fan-favorite karaoke spot on Royal Promenade.
Icon OTS will sail 7-night Eastern & Western Caribbean cruises from PortMiami Florida year-round. Every voyage will visit Royal Caribbean’s private island destination in The Bahamas - CocoCay. Passengers will also visit Caribbean destinations like Roatan (Honduras), Cozumel (Mexico), and Philipsburg (St. Maarten).
