MSC Cruises' Meraviglia-Class vessel MSC Meraviglia arrived on Thursday, April 20th, at her new homeport - NYC's Brooklyn Cruise Terminal.
This marks the first time that MSC has homeported a ship in New York City for year-round roundtrips, expanding its presence in the North American market and fulfilling its commitment to growth by offering more embarkation ports in the US.
NYC provides excellent flight connections for international guests, and MSC offers "Stay & Cruise" packages that allow guests to stay in the city for up to three nights before boarding. The package includes a free guided tour of Manhattan, and guests can choose from a variety of hotels and other excursions.
Meraviglia's itineraries range from 6 to 11 nights, taking advantage of NYC's geographic flexibility and providing guests with options such as Caribbean destinations, Bermuda, and Canada's natural beauty in the autumn.
Ex-NYC itineraries scheduled for MSC Meraviglia include:
Tropical 7- to 11-night The Bahama and Florida sailings with a selection of destinations like PortMiami Florida and Port Canaveral (Orlando, Florida); Nassau/Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve, The Bahamas; Cozumel/Costa Maya, Mexico.
5- and 6-night Bermuda sailings starting in August, with calls to Kings Wharf Bermuda and several days in port to explore the island.
10- and 11-night Canada and New England itineraries calling at Newport, Boston, and Portland in the USA and Halifax, Charlottetown, Saint John, and Sydney in Canada.
