AIDA Cruises is set to make 64 stops in Kiel Fjord during summer 2023, with 3 of its ships including AIDAnova, AIDAluna, and AIDAbella.
AIDAluna was the first liner to arrive in Port Kiel (on April 21st) and AIDAnova (the Port's largest ship for this season) will make the first call on April 29th, and the last call on November 4th, 2023.
Tourists will have a wide range of cruise options to choose from, including cruises to the Baltic Sea, Norway's fjords, and the Arctic Circle, with 3-, 4-, and 5-day options for short breaks. Those who want to experience cruising for themselves can take the taster cruises from Kiel, such as the 3-day cruises in May and September 2023, which will take guests through Denmark's archipelago with stops in Aarhus and Copenhagen.
The Arctic Circle is a highlight of AIDAluna's itinerary, with destinations such as the North Cape/Nordkapp, the Orkney Islands, and Tromso featuring on the program on 6 different dates on the 17-day voyage. Spitsbergen Island, one of the northernmost destinations on earth, is a must-see with its barren landscape of glaciers, mountains, and fjords, and wildlife such as polar bears, reindeer, and foxes living in their natural environment.
AIDAbella's itinerary is just as diverse, including 14-day voyages to "Norway with Lofoten & North Cape," which combines the most beautiful charms of Norway, including destinations such as Haugesund, the North Cape, the Lofoten Islands, Bodo, Andalsnes, Molde, Bergen, and Aarhus. AIDA has also developed attractive routes to Norway and Denmark for its guests, with seven- or 14-day voyages available on AIDAnova between May 6 and October 21, 2023.
AIDA Cruises will be an event sponsor of the world-renowned sailing and summer festival, Kiel Week, from June 17 to 25, 2023. The cruise company will present itself to the public during the 9-day event with a total of 3 ships and four calls by AIDAnova, AIDAluna, and AIDAbella on sea and shore with an inviting AIDA vacation world.
