The world's largest river cruise company Viking Cruises has resumed its European operations specifically targeting the Chinese market.
On June 1st, 100+ Chinese tourists boarded Viking Eistla longship in Amsterdam Netherlands to begin their 11-day "Rhine Charming Journey" voyage.
The boat's Captain Marius Valencia Andries warmly welcomed each Chinese guest, expressing greetings in Chinese and referring to the ship as their "home".
The crew and Chinese guests posed for a group photo, holding a banner that said "Welcome Chinese Guests 'Home".
After a break of three years, Viking has officially resumed its river cruise shipping services for the Chinese market.
Viking initially entered the Chinese market in 2016 when the popular brand introduced European river cruises specifically tailored for Chinese visitors.
