Fincantieri Italy has entered into an agreement with Marc-Henry Cruise Holdings LTD, the Joint Owner/Operator of Four Seasons Yachts, for the construction of the second ultra-luxury vessel for the Toronto Canada-based Four Seasons brand.
The contract for the second ship (Four Seasons II) is valued at over EUR 400 million and is expected to be delivered in 2026. However, the completion of the contract is contingent upon securing financing, which is a standard practice in the industry.
In 2022, Fincantieri had already secured an order for the first ship of this class (Four Seasons I), which is scheduled to be delivered in 2025-Q4.
Larry Pimentel, President and CEO of Marc-Henry Cruise Holdings LTD, expressed his satisfaction with the signing of the contract for the second vessel, emphasizing the collaboration between Fincantieri, Four Seasons, and his company in delivering a unique luxury yachting experience.
Alejandro Reynal, President and CEO of Four Seasons, highlighted the commitment to excellence in every Four Seasons venture, including their collaboration with Fincantieri and Marc-Henry Cruise Holdings. He expressed pride in extending their partnership with Fincantieri for the next vessel and looked forward to their first journey together.
Pierroberto Folgiero, CEO of Fincantieri, expressed his satisfaction with the trust placed in them by Marc-Henry Cruise Holdings, recognizing their expertise in marine operations, technical aspects, and sales and marketing for Four Seasons Yachts. He stated that this partnership is a testament to Fincantieri's leadership in the new ultra-luxury cruise segment and the company's commitment to revolutionizing the industry in terms of design, technology, and sustainability. Folgiero also saw this agreement as a positive sign of recovery for the cruise sector, marking the beginning of new orders.
