A-ROSA Cruises' newest boat A-ROSA SENA recently marked her one-year anniversary since embarking on her inaugural journey on the Northern Rhine.
Throughout the first year of operation, the ship has completed 40+ voyages/roundtrips from Cologne/Koln Germany. The boat has an innovative hybrid propulsion system that allows for nearly COx-free navigation using battery power for ~45 minutes when entering and leaving ports. Notably, A-ROSA SENA has already hosted 650+ children and the company expects to welcome even more kids throughout the ongoing season.
A-ROSA SENA stands out for her various distinctive features. Of all the 140 passenger staterooms, 12 are 5-Bed Family Cabins. The boat also features a Kids Club room, a separate children's pool (sized 23 m2/250 ft2) on the sundeck, and an array of cutting-edge technologies as part of A-ROSA's commitment to sustainability, ensuring the preservation of rivers, landscapes, and destinations for future generations. In an August collaboration with Wasserlust Swimming School, A-ROSA will become the first river cruise line to provide swimming lessons on one of its ships.
A-ROSA SENA primarily sails on the Northern Rhine, visiting river cities such as Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Utrecht, and Dordrecht.
Additionally, the boat offers holiday sailings (during festive seasons) as well as themed voyages in March and November.
