Costa Cruises has introduced an array of extended itineraries - called Costa Voyages, which start in September 2023.
Costa Voyages will be offered during the spring and autumn seasons (September to November 2023, April to June 2024, and September to November 2024) on the Costa ships Favolosa, Fortuna, Firenze, Fascinosa, Pacifica, and Diadema.
These itineraries, spanning from 10 to 14 days, will allow guests to explore a variety of destinations such as Spain's Balearic and Canary Islands, Portugal's Azores Islands, the Greek islands, Turkey, Egypt, Israel, Morocco, Denmark, and other countries in Northern Europe.
Costa has carefully selected and certified local guides who will lead tours to notable sites including the Egyptian Museum and the Great Pyramid of Giza, holy sites in Jerusalem (from Ashdod), the Hassan I Mosque, and Rick's Cafe (famous from the movie Casablanca) in Morocco, Europe's largest lava tunnel (the Cueva del Viento) in Tenerife, the old city of Lisbon in Portugal, and the Turkish cities of Istanbul and Izmir, among others.
Each cruise will offer various highlights, such as an exclusive menu created by renowned chefs Bruno Barbieri, Helene Darroze, and Angel Leon. Pastry chef Iginio Massari has collaborated with Costa to design 14 new desserts exclusively for these itineraries.
Additionally, Costa Voyages has partnered with the American music magazine Rolling Stone to present an exclusive musical show for guests. The itineraries will also feature three formal evenings, including a gala night at the Grand Bar, a Fashion Night, and a Glamour Night with a dance competition. Canon, the Japanese photography company, will offer photography sessions. Onboard, there will be games, quizzes, and challenges inspired by the 1960s and 1990s.
Guests can also opt for behind-the-scenes guided ship tours, providing an opportunity to explore areas like the galleys, the bridge, and the crew bar as part of the Costa Voyages experience.
