HAL-Holland America Line experienced a remarkable surge in bookings on July 11th, surpassing any previous day in the brand's 150-year history.

This indicates the enduring popularity of cruise travel. The bookings, which also set a record for single-day revenue, mainly consisted of reservations for 2024 and 2025, demonstrating that travelers are eagerly planning ahead for future trips. The destinations that garnered significant interest included Alaska, Europe, and the Caribbean, along with the newly introduced longer Legendary Voyages. Bookings encompassed a wide range of global destinations, such as Australia, South America, the South Pacific, and Asia.

HAL is renowned for its presence in Alaska, offering the most visits to Glacier Bay NP in the cruise industry. Through their Alaska Up Close program, guests can deeply engage with the local culture, enjoying authentic onboard activities, cruise programming, and award-winning shore excursions.

Beyond the 7-day Caribbean cruises, HAL distinguishes itself by offering longer sailings that allow travelers to explore multiple islands within a single itinerary, providing a unique experience.

The upcoming European seasons present a diverse array of voyages, encompassing trending destinations like Greenland, Iceland, and Mediterranean/Aegean (Greece and Turkey). Itineraries range from weeklong getaways to more extended voyages that cover multiple regions.

With two Pinnacle Class ships homeported in Rotterdam Netherlands in 2024, HAL's customers are eagerly booking voyages to Northern Europe and the UK/British Isles.
