Costa Cruises has introduced advanced Wi-Fi connectivity on its flagship, Costa Toscana, through SpaceX's Starlink, a leading Low Earth Orbit (LEO) satellite technology provider. The new Wi-Fi service is already operational and offers an exceptional internet experience for guests as they explore the captivating destinations of the Western Mediterranean during one-week cruises.
Following the successful implementation on Costa Toscana, the innovative Starlink broadband service will be gradually extended to all other ships in the Costa fleet, beginning with Costa Smeralda, the sistership of Costa Toscana. The plan is to have all ships in the Costa fleet equipped with Starlink by December 2023.
