Scenic Group has announced that 3 of its superyachts - Emerald Azzurra, Emerald Sakara, and Scenic Eclipse II, will be sailing in the Caribbean during fall 2023 season. This will be the first time these yachts visit this region, and travelers can look forward to a variety of options for itineraries, amenities, and excursions.
Starting from November 2023, both Azzurra and Sakara will be based in the Caribbean for the 2023-2024 winter season. They will offer 12 different itineraries ranging from 8 to 19 days, taking guests to various islands in the Grenadines, British and U.S. Virgin Islands, Eastern Caribbean, and West Indies, as well as ports in Puerto Rico, Panama, Costa Rica, and Colombia. Among the highlights is the 8-day "Eastern Caribbean" itinerary, which includes Gustavia St Barth's between Bridgetown Barbados, and Marigot St Martin, exploring intimate ports in the Leeward and Windward Islands. For those interested in exploring Caribbean beaches, the 8-day "West Indies Island Hopping" itinerary from San Juan Puerto Rico, is an excellent choice. It covers destinations like Culebra Island, renowned for its beaches and active reef perfect for snorkeling, and Vieques Island, offering the option to explore the coastal town of Esperanza or enjoy a kayaking excursion in the Bioluminescent Bay.
Scenic Eclipse 2 makes its Caribbean debut in October, with an 11-day "Bermuda and the Bahamas" voyage from Portland Maine USA to Nassau Bahamas. Additionally, there are shorter options like the 5-day "Taste of Bermuda," 5-day "Bermuda Escapade," and 3-day "Taste of Bahamas" itineraries. Afterward, Scenic Eclipse II will set sail on the nine-day "Caribbean Sunsets: Turks & Caicos Islands to Jamaica" journey between Nassau and Montego Bay, Jamaica. This route will include off-the-beaten-track destinations such as Egg Island and Little Inagua Island, both in the Bahamas and home to 1,000 Bahamians and 80,000 West Indian flamingos.
Notably, the rates for these Emerald Cruises and Scenic itineraries include "2-for-1" savings and are based on a per-person rate in double-occupancy cabins. Additionally, both cruise lines are offering free roundtrip airfare or air credits for early bookings made within specific time frames.
