Seabourn, a leading provider of ultra-luxury voyages and expedition travel, is introducing its second purpose-built expedition vessel, Seabourn Pursuit, on August 12th, 2023. The ship promises an unprecedented level of elegance and spacious public areas.
Seabourn Pursuit has 10 decks (4 of which house 132 passenger staterooms) and offers the same luxurious experience as Seabourn's other ships, providing travelers with an intimate "yacht-like" travel experience. The boat features various elegant public rooms and lounges, including the Bow Lounge, Expedition Lounge, Constellation Lounge, The Club, and the popular Seabourn Square.
The Bow Lounge, located on Deck 6, is an ideal spot for guests to observe marine life and enjoy scenic views with the help of touch screens and live footage. The Constellation Lounge on Deck 9 offers 270-degree outward-facing views, serving afternoon tea and evening entertainment. The Club on the stern of Deck 9 provides a space for guests to socialize, enjoy live music, and indulge in sushi and cocktails.
Seabourn Square, known as the "living room" of the expedition ships, offers a cozy environment for guests to interact with officers, the expedition team, and fellow guests. It also houses the Guest Services staff, a coffee bar, a library, and outdoor seating with telescopes.
The Expedition Lounge on Deck 4 serves as a gathering place for guests to relax, share stories, and prepare for expeditions. Adjacent to it, the Discovery Center hosts educational lectures and programming by the expedition team.
Seabourn Pursuit's inaugural season starts with Mediterranean voyages followed by a short Caribbean deployment, coastal navigation around South America (including Amazon) to the South Pacific (Kimberley Australia, Papua New Guinea), then Oceania (Melanesia) and Southeast Asia (Indonesia) between August 2023 and October 2024.
