Trimline marks a milestone as they successfully complete their fifth rebranding endeavor for Marella Cruises UK, focusing on the refurbishment of Marella Voyager. The project, spanning 33 days in drydock in Cadiz Spain, showcases Trimline's profound understanding of Marella's brand identity and its adeptness in meeting specific operational needs.
Under the guidance of Director of Projects, Naomi Cooper, Trimline's on-site management team, and a skilled workforce of 180 tradespeople diligently revitalized the ship. This diverse team comprised electricians, decorators, floor layers, joiners, laborers, hard surface repair experts, French polishers, plumbers, welders, HVAC specialists, upholsterers, and other specialists, ensuring excellence in all aspects of the transformation.
Among the newly crafted spaces is 'The Exchange,' an exciting addition to the Marella fleet, featuring a captivating art deco bar with a classic speak-easy ambiance. This transformation involved the installation of energy-efficient LED lighting by GDS.
The creation of the champagne bar 'Flutes' was another remarkable achievement. Trimline proposed an innovative solution that seamlessly integrated Flutes into a new space, employing advanced technical investigations and eye-catching design to deliver an awe-inspiring result.
Beyond these highlights, Trimline's expertise extended to numerous other areas on the ship, such as Squid & Anchor, Latitude & Vista restaurants, as well as the newly designed Santorini and St Lucia-themed suites, Destination Experiences, Dining Club, and M Club, ensuring a cohesive and stunning interior. Their skills also encompassed crew areas, 900+ passenger staterooms, public area carpeting, Broadway, and even the installation of a state-of-the-art LED dance floor in the nightclub.
Despite logistical challenges, Trimline's on-site logistics management team orchestrated a smooth and efficient operation from start to finish, demonstrating their exceptional project management capabilities.
