Cunard has revealed an exclusive collaboration with Michel Albert Roux (1960-born Michelin-starred chef).
Michel Roux will be collaborating closely with Cunard's team of culinary development chefs to curate a special gala menu exclusively for the Queens Grill restaurant aboard Cunard's upcoming ship, Queen Anne. Additionally, a fresh menu will be crafted by Michel Roux for Cunard's popular fleet-wide pub, the Golden Lion.
Currently under development, the new pub menu will showcase a selection of well-loved guest favorites, reimagined through the culinary artistry of Chef Michel. This revamped menu is set to debut on Queen Anne in May 2024, before being progressively introduced across Cunard's existing fleet later in the year.
Cunard has also unveiled an exciting array of four additional dining experiences available on Queen Anne: Aji Wa, Aranya, Sir Samuels, and Tramonto. These distinctive venues offer guests an unprecedented level of choice and culinary variety.
Three of these innovative dining options on Cunard's newest luxury vessel will serve as alternative evening dining venues, offered as supplements to complement the inclusive meal options available for lunch or dinner at Tramonto and the Golden Lion pub.
Presenting a fresh concept for Cunard, Aji Wa will present inventive Japanese cuisine inspired by the changing seasons. This culinary haven will feature sushi and a comprehensive a la carte menu available for both lunch and dinner. Moreover, guests will have the opportunity to indulge in a unique Omikase "chef's choice" tasting menu during the evening.
Venturing into new gastronomic territory for Cunard, Aranya promises a captivating expedition through the intricate and aromatic spice flavors of India. Meticulously curated by experts in the realm, the menu offers a multi-sensory experience, from the vivid palette of flavors to the opulent interior design, complete with expansive floor-to-ceiling windows that provide breathtaking views during dining.
The epitome of a refined steakhouse, Sir Samuels will showcase the epitome of British and Australian beef and seafood, complemented by an exceptional wine selection. The steaks, chosen for their provenance and quality, will be seared to perfection. The menu will encompass a diverse array of beef selections alongside a wide variety of fish and seafood dishes, all sourced responsibly to ensure the freshest and finest ingredients.
Tramonto will transport diners to the sun-drenched Mediterranean shores, boasting a menu teeming with vibrant flavors. Guests will also have the chance to relish alfresco dining, basking in the warmth of a summer sunset.
Furthermore, guests will enjoy exclusive access to dining venues appropriate to their stateroom category, ranging from the grand two-tiered Britannia restaurant, the fleet's largest Britannia Club restaurant, to the lavish elegance of the Princess Grill and Queens Grill Restaurants.
