AmaWaterways has now made individual and group reservations available for its 2025 river voyages. Travelers now have the option to secure their travel vacations in Europe, Africa, Egypt, Asia, and South America/Colombia.
For those who make reservations by September 30th, 2023, AmaWaterways is offering an Early Booking Reward. This incentive allows guests to save up to 20% on their cruise fares, varying based on the specific voyage and destination date.
In November 2024, AmaWaterways is to become the first river cruise brand to offer Magdalena River cruises in Colombia with the newbuild AmaMagadalena ship. In October 2024, AmaMagadalena will be joined by the sistership AmaMelodia. Both boats have a passenger capacity of 64 (32x twin-balcony staterooms each).
Both vessels will offer passengers the chance to indulge in Latin-American cuisine, engaging excursions, and captivating entertainment. AmaWaterways is presenting two distinct seven-night itineraries in Colombia: "Wonders of Colombia" and "Magic of Colombia." These journeys traverse between Cartagena and Barranquilla, Colombia. Travelers also have the option to enhance their experience with pre- and post-cruise land packages in Medellin (Colombia) and Panama City.
The company is also launching two 7-night itineraries in Portugal. Joining the fleetmates and sisterships AmaDouro and AmaVida ships, starting March 2025, the new AmaSintra will also sail along the Douro River. The itineraries include "Enticing Douro," starting from Porto, Portugal, and "Flavors of Portugal & Spain," which encompasses a voyage from Porto to Vega de Terron/Salamanca Spain.
A highlight of AmaWaterways' 2025 lineup is the "Imperial Danube" itinerary. This 7-night journey embarks from Budapest Hungary, for a round-trip adventure along the Danube River. For those looking for a comprehensive experience, a pre-cruise land package featuring a 2-night excursion in Budapest is also available.
Making a return in 2025, AmaWaterways is reviving its 14-night "Magnificent Europe" itinerary. This extensive voyage stretches between Amsterdam, and Budapest, Hungary. Travelers will have the opportunity to witness UNESCO World Heritage Sites like Cologne’s Wurzburg Residenz Palace, the Old Towns of Bamberg and Regensburg, and Melk Abbey along the way.
