RCI-Royal Caribbean's latest vessel, scheduled to depart from PortMiami Florida in 2024, is now open for bookings in response to significant demand, as confirmed by the cruise line.
The forthcoming Icon of the Seas will be the inaugural ship of Royal Caribbean's Icon Class cruise ships, representing the cruise line's first introduction of a new vessel type since 2014.
Travelers can secure reservations for 7-night voyages on this ship through Royal Caribbean's official website.
The 19-deck Icon OTS has a volume of 250800 GT-tons, making it over 6% larger than the Wonder of the Seas and capable of accommodating up to 7600 passengers in 2805 staterooms. Notably, Icon OTS will also surpass Wonder OTS in length by an additional 10 ft (~3 m).
The ship's itinerary will encompass visits to Royal Caribbean's private island CocoCay Bahamas, in addition to stops at Puerto Plata Dominicana and San Juan Puerto Rico.
RCI asserts that upon setting sail on January 27th, 2024, Icon OTS will claim the title of the world's largest cruise ship.
