In the upcoming high season for international cruise tourism, Puerto Vallarta (Jalisco, Mexico Riviera) is set to host a total of 15 scheduled cruise ship calls, including two double arrivals and a unique visit spanning two dates without overnight stays.
According to information from the Administration of the National Port System Puerto Vallarta (ASIPONA), the first double arrival took place on Tuesday, October 3, featuring Carnival Panorama and Royal Caribbean's Navigator of the Seas, both extending their stay into the late evening.
On Wednesday, October 4, Hurtigruten's ship Fridtjof Nansen (capacity of 530 passengers) visited the port.
The following week will witness 3 arrivals, and the subsequent week will see 5, including another double arrival on Wednesday the 18th, when Discovery Princess and Silver Wind, a smaller vessel with a capacity of 296 passengers, will dock in Puerto Vallarta.
From the 22nd to the 28th, there will be three arrivals, with Navigator OTS arriving on Thursday the 26th and departing at 1 AM on Friday (Oct 27th), providing passengers with more time to explore the city without an overnight stay.
Carnival Panorama will conclude this month's port schedule with its visit on October 31st.
While there were originally 23 arrivals scheduled for October 2022, some were canceled due to tropical cyclones.
