Resorts World Cruises expanded its portfolio of new itineraries by launching Resorts World One's inaugural 5-night cruise from Hong Kong to Okinawa, with stops in Naha and Miyakojima.
Departing from Hong Kong on October 15, 2023, Resorts World One reached Naha and Miyakojima on October 17 and 18, 2023, respectively. The cruise line plans to offer monthly departures from Hong Kong to Okinawa on selected Sundays.
Okinawa, which recently earned a place among the Top 10 Best Islands in Asia, remains a perennial favorite among travelers. Accessing this paradise destination is made convenient aboard Resorts World One, with cruise fares starting from HK$3520 (US$450) per guest based on twin sharing.
To commemorate this momentous occasion, a special welcome event took place in Naha, celebrating Resorts World One's first arrival in the capital city of Okinawa. The ceremony included notable figures like Mr. Hiroshi Teruya, Executive Vice President of the Naha Port Authority; Mr. Yukimasa Adaniya, Managing Director of the Agricultural Cooperative Association of Okinawa Prefecture (JA Okinawa); Mr. Hiroki Matori, Senior Executive Director of the Okinawa Convention & Visitors Bureau (OCVB), and Mr. Michael Goh, President of Resorts World Cruises, who officiated the ship's inaugural arrival. Additionally, the Okinawa Tourism Bureau arranged a captivating cultural performance to welcome disembarking guests in Naha.
