MSC Cruises has made significant alterations to its upcoming cruise programs, prioritizing passenger safety and experience.

The winter program for MSC Orchestra, initially scheduled to operate in the Red Sea from November 8, 2023, to April 17, 2024, has been canceled. This decision was prompted by concerns regarding the proximity of certain ports of call to Israel and the substantial travel restrictions imposed by neighboring countries. These restrictions would have undoubtedly impacted the overall holiday experience for passengers.

In response to the ongoing geopolitical situation and in consideration of passenger safety, MSC Cruises is also implementing modifications to various other itineraries. The company has noted that local authorities in specific destinations have imposed travel restrictions, and certain national governments have issued advisories against travel to certain regions.

The winter program for MSC Sinfonia, originally scheduled from November 12, 2023, to April 15, 2024, has been canceled, primarily due to its highlight itinerary stop in Haifa Israel. Additionally, some minor adjustments have been made to the itineraries of grand voyages for MSC Virtuosa, MSC Opera, MSC Splendida, and two 11-night sailings for MSC Armonia.

Passengers affected by these changes have the option to transfer their bookings to a cruise of similar duration on an alternative ship and itinerary, or they can request a full refund.

MSC Cruises reaffirms its unwavering commitment to passenger and crew safety and emphasizes that it will closely monitor the situation as it evolves, making necessary adjustments to ship itineraries to ensure the utmost safety and satisfaction of all passengers.
