PortMiami (Florida USA) will homeport 8 new cruise ships for the 2023-2024 season.

The fleet includes Oceania Vista, Carnival Venezia, and Scenic Eclipse II, which started operations from Miami in October 2023. In December 2023, they will be joined by Crystal Serenity, Explora I, Norwegian Viva and Regent Seven Seas Grandeur. In late-January 2024, from Miami starts turnaround operations RCI/Royal Caribbean's newest and largest ship Icon of the Seas.

Daniella Levine Cava (Miami-Dade County's Mayor) expressed gratitude for the enduring partnerships with cruise lines and their commitment to delivering a world-class passenger experience. The introduction of these new ships, equipped with enhanced amenities and customer services, reaffirms Miami-Dade and PortMiami's position at the forefront of the cruise industry.

PortMiami has experienced record-breaking cruise passenger days in 2023, with the port hosting 67594 guests on April 9th, surpassing the 2023's previous record of 58984 passengers (on February 12th) by 12.7%.

Additionally, PortMiami is finalizing the Shore Power Program, a collaboration involving the port, cruise partners, and Florida Power and Light Company. This initiative will provide shore power at five cruise terminals, enabling up to three ships to be connected simultaneously.
