Princess Cruises is set to mark two significant milestones in Singapore and Southeast Asia.
Celebrating a 10-year Anniversary in Southeast Asia, Diamond Princess ship will be homeported in Singapore for 10 to 14-day roundtrips from December 2023 to March 2024.
These voyages will visit exotic destinations in Thailand, Vietnam, and Malaysia, offering travelers the opportunity to celebrate festive occasions such as Christmas and New Year (also the Chinese New Year/in February), and Valentine's Day both on board and at the various ports of call.
Diamond Princess will undertake two relocation voyages (RepositionCruises.com) for the Singapore deployment. The first is a 15-day itinerary from Yokohama Japan, arriving in Singapore on December 16, 2023. The ship will conclude the deployment with a 13-day itinerary from Singapore to Yokohama on March 5, 2024, just in time for Japan's cherry blossom season and the start of its Japan deployment.
Another significant milestone in Southeast Asia is the introduction of the MedallionClass vacation experience offered by Diamond Princess for this upcoming Singapore deployment.
To commemorate these milestones and the upcoming launch of Sun Princess ship, travelers in Singapore, Indonesia, and Malaysia can participate in the "All You Love" Sweepstakes from October 30 to December 31, 2023. The winner will receive a prize valued at SG$9,000, including round-trip economy air tickets for two and two cruise tickets for a balcony stateroom onboard Sun Princess, as the ship embarks on her inaugural season in Europe.
Following her Singapore season, Diamond Princess will return to Japan from March through August 2024, offering a variety of unique itineraries and departure dates. Royal Princess ship will also make its Japan debut in 2024, becoming the first Royal-Class ship to sail in the region.
Apart from Southeast Asia, Princess Cruises noted that its most popular voyages among Southeast Asian tourists are in Alaska and Europe. The company is celebrating 55 years of sailing in Alaska in 2024, with 7 ships departing from 4 homeports.
In Europe (2024) Princess will deploy five liners, including the new Sun Princess.
