Regal Princess made her arrival at Galveston Texas on Sunday, November 5, commencing a significant cruise season as the largest Princess Cruises' ship ever stationed in Texas.
The 3560-passenger Regal Princess is set to offer roundtrips to the Western Caribbean until March 24th, with an estimated 75000 tourists embarking from the Texas homeport, known for its convenience and scenic beauty.
In honor of this milestone, Princess Cruises' Chief Commercial Officer, Terry Thornton, Regal Princess Captain Aldo Traverso, and Celebrations Ambassador Jill Whelan participated in a traditional maritime plaque exchange with Galveston Wharves Board Vice Chairman Jeff Patterson. The event was launched with a lively performance by the Tornettes, the Ball High School Drill Team from Galveston, and their school mascot, Tuffy.
Regal Princess will commence a series of 21 voyages from Galveston TX, ranging in duration from 7 to 12 days, making stops at popular destinations in the Western Caribbean and Mexico, including Cozumel, Costa Maya, and Roatan. Passengers can also select from special holiday sailings during Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's. Furthermore, a "Love and Romance Celebration" themed cruise, featuring Love Ambassador and bridal fashion icon Randy Fenoli, is scheduled to depart on December 3. Mr. Fenoli will host special events, share personal success stories, provide advice on selecting the right wedding dress, and unveil the "Randy" cocktail.
Regal Princess, with a substantial 142,229-tonnage and 19 decks, offers stunning ocean views from over 1,400 stateroom balconies. Passengers can enjoy the SeaWalk, a glass-floor walkway extending 28 feet beyond the ship's edge, indulge in top-deck pools and hot tubs, and find relaxation in the Sanctuary retreat designed exclusively for adults. From the cruise line's diverse dining options and captivating entertainment to her hospitable MedallionClass service, Regal Princess provides something for every passenger.
To commemorate the 20th anniversary of Princess Cruises' first voyages from Galveston and the 10th anniversary of the Regal Princess's debut, the ship will return for another series of Western Caribbean cruises during the 2024-2025 season, with cruise bookings now available.
