RCI-Royal Caribbean International opened bookings for their 2025 European voyages following the release of their 2025 Alaskan itineraries.
For the upcoming European season (April through October), RCI will deploy a fleet of 6 liners, with notable vessels such as Allure of the Seas and Odyssey of the Seas.
Here's a breakdown of the ships and their deployment plans:
Independence of the Seas will return to the UK for homeporting in Southampton England. This marks a change from the previous 6 years when Anthem of the Seas was the primary ship in this location. Independence OTS will offer a variety of itinerary lengths, taking passengers to destinations in Iberia (Spain and Portugal) and Baltic Sea/Northern Europe and Norway.
Allure of the Seas will return to Europe in 2025 for homeporting in Barcelona Spain and Civitavecchia/Rome Italy. Allure's schedule includes a Transatlantic crossing in February 2025 (RepositionCruises.com), with a noticeable gap in her schedule until April 2025, sparking speculation about a potential refurbishment. Allure OTS missed out on the Royal Amplification ship upgrades in 2020 due to the industry shutdown, and it remains uncertain if she will undergo these enhancements in 2025. The ship will primarily operate in the Western Mediterranean, with some shorter itineraries at the beginning and end of the season.
Brilliance of the Seas will relocate from Miami to Barcelona in April 2025 and then move to Piraeus/Athens Greece, offering roundtrips to the Greek Isles. In August 2025, Brilliance OTS will return to Barcelona and later Southampton, presumably to prepare for the winter season.
Explorer of the Seas will offer roundtrips from Ravenna Italy to the Greek Isles and ports in the Adriatic Sea.
Odyssey of the Seas will move from NYC New York to Civitavecchia with itineraries visiting Greece, Italy, and Turkey.
Voyager of the Seas will also be homeported in Civitavecchia, providing 7-night roundtrips to Greece, Turkey, and the Adriatic.
