The Ancona shipyard on Monday, November 13, delivered Seven Seas Grandeur, the third luxury cruise ship constructed by Fincantieri for RSSC/Regent Seven Seas Cruises, a luxury cruise line under the Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings Ltd.’s portfolio.
This vessel marks the completion of the Explorer-Class Series, following Seven Seas Explorer in 2016 and Seven Seas Splendor in 2020.
Weighing ~55,500 gross tons, Seven Seas Grandeur mirrors her sisterships and is designed to accommodate only 746 passengers, maintaining one of the highest staff-to-guest ratios in the industry. The ship incorporates the latest environmental protection technologies, prioritizing sustainability. The interiors are meticulously crafted, emphasizing a sophisticated and luxurious guest experience.
Apart from RSSC, the shipowner Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings Ltd/NCLH oversees Norwegian Cruise Line, which is set to receive 4x PRIMA Class vessels from Fincantieri in the coming years. Additionally, NCLH owns and manages Oceania Cruises, for which Fincantieri has already delivered Oceania Vista, the first of 2 new-generation vessels of the ALLURA-class, with the second scheduled for delivery in 2025.
Since 2016, Fincantieri and Lloyd’s Register have collaborated with NCLH across all brands to deliver the new generation of ships.
