Princess Cruises has unveiled its 2025-2026 Australia cruise program, featuring the debut of Discovery Princess Down Under and the longest-ever world cruise leaving roundtrip from Australia.
Crown Princess will embark on a 114-night itinerary visiting 31 countries across 6 continents. It includes overnight stays in NYC New York, Calao-Lima Peru and Quebec Canada, along with late-night stops in destinations like Reykjavik Iceland and Papeete Tahiti.
The primary cruise program offers roundtrip departures from Sydney NSW, Brisbane QLD and Auckland NZ, with 120 departures from Discovery Princess, Crown Princess, and Grand Princess. Cruise durations range from 2 to 37 days, departing from 7 ports: Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth (Fremantle), Adelaide, and Hobart in Australia, and Auckland in New Zealand.
Discovery Princess will make her Sydney debut on December 6, 2025, marking ~50 years since Princess Cruises first started Australia cruises with the original Pacific Princess in December 1975. The 145,000-ton Discovery Princess will be the largest Princess Cruises ship to sail in Australia.
Both Discovery Princess and Crown Princess will be deployed in Sydney, offering various itineraries, including round Australia voyages and a Tahiti and Hawaii cruise. The 107,000-ton, 2,600-guest Grand Princess will be based in Brisbane, operating 14 roundtrip cruises to Tasmania, Papua New Guinea, and New Zealand.
