CCL-Carnival Cruise Line's upcoming vessel, Carnival Jubilee, has successfully completed her inaugural round of sea trials, marking a significant step towards the debut in Galveston Texas USA, on December 23rd.
The trials, conducted on November 14, involved a comprehensive evaluation of the ship's technical, mechanical, and navigational systems by a team of officers, technicians, and engineers.
Captain Andrea Catalani expressed satisfaction with the ship's performance during the testing phase. As the first Carnival ship constructed in Germany, Carnival Jubilee proudly showcases a Texas star on her bow in homage to homeport Galveston.
The new vessel introduces innovative sea-themed zones, including the Dr.Inks, Ph.D Bar, offering diverse culinary experiences.
Carnival Jubilee, powered by an LNG-Liquefied Natural Gas propulsion system, boasts unique attractions such as the BOLT: The Ultimate Seacoaster rollercoaster, Guy's Pig & Anchor Smokehouse, and Shaquille O’Neal’s Big Chicken restaurant.
Scheduled for delivery to Carnival by Meyer Werft on December 4, the ship will embark on year-round cruises to popular Caribbean destinations like Cozumel, Costa Maya, and Mahogany Bay (Roatan).
