Sir Richard Branson introduced Resilient Lady to Australian waters, marking the arrival of the third "lady ship" in the Virgin Voyages fleet.
The vessel is set to be homeported in Melbourne Victoria.
Resilient Lady made a notable entrance into Sydney Harbour at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, December 4, with Virgin Group founder Branson personally welcoming the ship in a classic wooden speedboat as it navigated through the heads.
The liner is scheduled to anchor at Circular Quay for 2 nights before proceeding to Melbourne.
This move positions Virgin Voyages as the first travel brand within the Virgin Group to enter the Australian market since the launch of Virgin Australia in 2000.
