China achieves a significant maritime milestone as its first domestically built large cruise liner - MS Adora Magic City, concludes the installation of shipboard supplies, marking a crucial phase before commencing trial operations.
On Sunday, December 10th, a multinational crew of 1292 members boarded the vessel, officially known as the Adora Magic City.
The ship (named after Shanghai's nickname "Magic City") has been formally handed over to Adora Cruises, setting the stage for the maiden voyage scheduled for January 1, 2024.
Adora Magic City starts the inaugural cruise from homeport Shanghai Wusongkou Cruise Terminal after completing preparations for trial operations.
With LOA length 324 meters (1063 ft) and volume 135,500 GT-tonnes, the ship has max passenger capacity 5246, 16 decks (14 passenger-accessible) and 2125 guest staterooms.
