Princess Cruises is set to deploy its latest and largest sisterships, Sun Princess and Star Princess, simultaneously in the Caribbean. As part of the company's most extensive deployment in the region for winter and spring 2025-2026, the 4300-passenger ships of the new SPHERE-class will join the 10-ship fleet.
Embarking from Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale, the Sun Princess and Star Princess will offer 7-day eastern and western Caribbean cruises. The sisterships boast a 20% increase in volume compared to the company's existing vessels.
Sun Princess, the fleet's first LNG-powered/by liquefied natural gas, is scheduled to commence service in Europe in February, followed by Star Princess in the Mediterranean in August 2025.
The announcement of Princess' 2025-2026 itinerary program, encompassing 278 voyages across the USA, Caribbean, Mexico, and Pacific Islands, coincided with the start of construction on Star Princess at Fincantieri Monfalcone.
The 2025 season, available for booking starting December 20th, features notable highlights, including a commemorative Mexican Riviera cruise by Royal Princess, celebrating the 60th anniversary of the company's inaugural cruise in December 1965 aboard the ship Princess Patricia.
Additionally, Sky Princess will be the first ROYAL-class Princess ship homeported in Port Canaveral Florida, offering 8-day eastern and western Caribbean roundtrips, as well as 6-day eastern Caribbean itineraries.
The Caribbean deployment will further include the ships Caribbean Princess, Emerald Princess, Enchanted Princess, Island Princess, Majestic Princess, Regal Princess, and Sapphire Princess.
Encompassing 29 destinations in 22 countries, the deployment will feature 178 departures on 25 itineraries ranging from 4 to 20 days.
