Brenock Technology LLC (Brenock), a developer of maritime software applications and consultancy services company, has officially inked an agreement with CCL-Carnival Cruise Line to assume the role of their dedicated crew planning and cost management software provider.
CCL is set to deploy Brenock's cutting-edge planning and cost management tools, the Integrated Management System (IMS) and the real-time expense reporting tool, Crew Acquisition Movement Expenses (CAMEX). This strategic move aims to fortify Carnival's oversight and control of planning and expense management across its expansive fleet. Functioning as cloud-based solutions, IMS and CAMEX will bring forth adaptable and automated reporting and planning functionalities, optimizing scheduling, invoicing, staffing, and resource allocation for every voyage.
Richard Brearley, Vice President of Crew and Travel Operations at CCL, expressed enthusiasm about the collaboration, stating that their vision of leveraging technology and building a scalable model aligned with Brenock’s product.

Carnival's scheduled go-live date for IMS and CAMEX is set for Q1 2024. Notably, IMS stands out as one of the few single-platform solutions, offering comprehensive cloud-based cruise and marine management. This feature equips Carnival with a unified platform for managing crew fees and expenses across various operational categories.
CAMEX, the crew management solution, introduces a streamlined approach to expense reporting for crew members, handling transactions and reimbursements in multiple currencies with automatic conversion capabilities. The tool's customizable dashboard ensures extensive visibility into outflows, empowering multiple users to monitor expense statuses in real-time, facilitate transactions across departments, and uphold compliance with company and employee expense policies.
