MSC Cruises has incorporated Mexico's Costa Maya/Mahahual and Cozumel into a new 7-night itinerary. The departure port for the voyage visiting these Quintana Roo destinations is Galveston Texas USA.

Governor Mara Lezama notes that the addition of Costa Maya/Mahahual and Cozumel to the route to Roatan Honduras aboard MSC Seascape ship is indicative of Quintana Roo's leadership in attracting cruise tourists. The region's natural richness and historical-cultural attractions continue to draw more visitors.

Lezama emphasizes the efforts made through the New Agreement for the Well-being and Development of Quintana Roo, working tirelessly to translate tourism success into shared prosperity, generating new jobs and increased incomes for those involved in the sector.

The tourism potential for cruises is evident in the reception of ~1500 ships and 5+ million passengers annually at the 4 terminals in Cozumel and Mahahual, according to an agreement with SEDETUR.

The new MSC itinerary from Galveston, available for sale since January, features a cruise aboard the Seascape, scheduled for November 9, 2025.

MSC Seascape is one of the newest and most sustainable vessels in the MSC Group's cruise fleet.

Key destinations on the itinerary include Costa Maya, Mexico, recognized for the Chacchoben and Kohunlich Mayan ruins, and Cozumel, Mexico, renowned globally for its exceptional diving excursions.

Headquartered in Geneva, Switzerland, MSC Cruises is part of the Cruise Division of MSC Group, a leading privately owned transport and logistics conglomerate worldwide.
