Oceania Cruises has announced a delay in the delivery of its vessel Allura due to construction setbacks. Consequently, 6 sailings planned for next summer have been canceled, and the inaugural cruise of the ship is now slated for the end of July 2025.

Allura, a sistership to Vista, is currently under construction at the Fincantieri shipyard in Italy. Originally set for delivery in May 2025, the ship's completion timeline has been extended.

In an official statement, Oceania Cruises stated:

“We have been informed by the shipyard that Allura’s delivery will be delayed. As a result, we will need to cancel her scheduled sailings in June and July of next year.”

The affected sailings on Allura were scheduled from June 8 to July 29, 2025. The new inaugural voyage will embark from Athens (Piraeus) on July 24, 2025, and journey to Monte Carlo over a span of 12 days. Further details regarding the revised itinerary are currently being finalized.

Reservations for the rescheduled inaugural voyage will commence on February 12, 2024. Guests impacted by the cancellations will have the opportunity to secure bookings for the inaugural sailing starting from Sunday, February 5, 2024.

Subsequently, Allura's departure from Monte Carlo on August 5 is anticipated to commence the scheduled 10-night cruise to Athens, encompassing destinations in Italy, Greece, and Turkey.

Guests with bookings on the affected cruises will receive refunds along with a rebooking offer, the details of which are yet to be finalized.
